Bound in half green leather with gilt borders, and green cloth blind stamped with a crest to the upper cover, raised bands between gilt rules and gilt lettering to the spine, all edges gilt, in a green cloth slipcase accompanied by pictorial dustwrapper for the trade edition in its own green card folder. A portrait frontispiece and a mixture of black and white and colour plates from photographs. A fine copy, in a near fine slipcase.

Royal St George's was the first English course to host the Open Championship.
