First edition. 8vo. Publisher's green cloth with blind ruled borders, gilt titles and vignette of a stickman to upper cover, gilt titles and rules to spine. Five fold out black and white maps and black and white sketches. A very good copy, with damp mottling to the boards, both hinges splitting, and minor worming to the preliminary leaves.
More than just another annual because it was the first golf annual supported by the golfing public and enjoyed yearly publication for 23 years until its demise in 1910.
