First edition, limited to 900 subscriber's copies, this copy marked 492. Large 4to. Bound in publisher's full red morocco with gilt decoration and lettering to the front board and spine. All edges gilt, with silk ribbon marker present. Colour frontispiece, two full-colour illustrations, two photogravures under tissue guards, two full page black and white illustrations and numerous black and white illustrations in the text, also head and tail pieces drawn by Harry Rountree. A very good copy with some wear to the head of the spine and corners and light scratches to the boards. Internally clean, with previous owner's name on the verso free front end paper.

It includes a listing of golf books published up to this date.
