Near-contemporary full green morocco with raised bands and gilt lettering and decoration to the spine and gilt decorative borders to the covers. All edges gilt. Fifteen full page steel engravings and vignette title page by H.K.Browne ("Phiz"). A near fine copy, joints almost imperceptibly reinforced, preserving the original spine and only minor wear to the corners. Internally fresh. A handsome copy in a contemporary fine binding.
