AUTHOR'S PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed on the half title "A monsieur James Young / hommage de l'auteur / Jules Verne / Amiens, Juin 1902" A very good copy with some wear to the spine ends a repair to the front joint at the head of the spine. Internally fresh with neat strengthening to the hinges.
Verne presentations are particularly rare in the English editions.
