Forty colour plates mounted onto green art paper under captioned tissue guards, the plate on p.142 has small crease to the lower left hand corner. A near fine copy, very clean internally with slight fading to the spine.
Dulac's richly detailed and colourful illustrations are perfectly suited to the vibrant story of the wild magician and his fantastical companions.
