First edition with colour illustrations by Rackham. Chunky 4to. Red cloth with gilt lettering and design to upper cover and spine, top edge red. Pictorial endpapers with design in red and forty mounted colour plates under captioned tissue guards. In addition to the colour plates there are many black and white drawings both full page and in the text. A fine copy, with boards and gilt remaining particularly bright, a few spots to the page edges, but internally clear.
Includes classic fairy tales such as Hansel and Grethel, Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel.
