Original pictorial card wrappers decorated in red, orange and green, in the original matching dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers. Colour frontispiece with three further colour plates, in addition to numerous line drawings throughout the text. A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper.
South-West Wind, Esquire is a mischievous, magical character who visits the Black Brothers at the onset of the story, and marks the beginning of their misfortune.
