First edition. 8vo. Original green cloth lettered and decorated in gilt to the spine and upper board. Fourteen coloured engravings of fruit. A very good copy indeed, bright and clean. The front hinge is tender and has had an old tape stain and the foreedge of the front endpaper has a small chip.
This slim volume of garden fruits contains a selection of entries from Maund's earlier book, The Fruitist, with beautiful engravings of each fruit alongside their history and advice for growing them.
