Christopher Robin is Saying his Prayers
Vespers
Methuen, 1925.
A large hand-coloured broadside, number 163 of only 250 printed. Image size 300 x 190mm. Above and below the printed text of the poem, Vespers, are lovely images of Christopher Robin kneeling to say his prayers and him nestled under his blanket with a teddy bear (Winnie the Pooh) lying at the foot of the bed. A fine clean example. Mounted, glazed and framed.
Issued shortly after the appearance of Milne's first book of children's verse, When We Were Very Young.
