Late 19th century children's annual. 4to. In publisher's brown pictorial cloth with charming wintery scene to the upper cover. Gilt lettering and all page edges gilt. Four full page black and white illustrations by Rackham, plus a further 24 in the text. Six full page chromolithograph plates by various artists, plus many line drawings in the text. A very good copy, short tear to the base of the spine and closed tear to the front tissue guard. Gift inscription dated Christmas 1896 to the front blank.
A collection of stories and articles for children. Rackham's full page illustrations are for "The Surprising Adventures of Tuppy and Tue" by Maggie Browne.
