Two full page black and white illustrations by Rackham, plus a further 16 in the text. Six full page chromolithograph plates by various artists, plus numerous black and white illustrations in the text, including many by Hugh Thomson and two-tone chapter headings by Susan Pearse. A near fine copy, beautifully clean and bright.
A collection of stories and articles for children. Rackham's illustrations are for "The Book of Betty Barber and the Trouble it Caused" by Maggie Browne, the first time that this story appeared in print.
