First edition. Original orange cloth with black lettering on the spine, in the striking pictorial dustwrapper designed by Robin Macartney. A very good copy indeed, small patches of fading to the spine ends and some foxing to the page edges, in a very good dustwrapper indeed. The jacket is clean and attractive, with just light chips to the spine ends and minor edgewear; there are two short, repaired, closed tears and a small mark to the front panel.
An unusually well preserved example of this classic Hercule Poirot novel of the 1930s.
