First edition in book form, the story having previously appeared in Little Folks magazine. 8vo. Brown cloth with black titles and colour plate pasted onto upper cover. Top edge gilt. Twelve drawings by Arthur Rackham of which six have been coloured by Harry Rountree. A very good copy indeed of this uncommon Rackham book, spotting to page edges and margins.
This story first appeared in the Little Folks magazine in 1900, for this book six of the illustrations have been coloured, this work was done by Harry Rountree, with Rackham's consent.
