Inscribed by Linder on the half title "For Hope / with best wishes / from Leslie Linder / April 25th 1971" Illustrated in colour and line and providing essential checklist to identifying first editions of Potter's work. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper.
Hope was a Sunday School student at Linder's church, and had helped Linder with the Beatrix Potter Centenary Exhibition.
