First edition. Original buff cloth boards titled in black on the spine, in red and gold dustwrapper. A near fine book in a very good dustwrapper, which is bright and fresh, with two small chips to the spine ends and price clipped.
Due to the wartime restrictions, this book was printed in small numbers and to a poor standard, consequently it is rarely found with its dustwrapper and is more unusual still in nice condition.
A psychological thriller with elements of comic absurd.
