First edition. 8vo. Red boards lettered in black. Pictorial dustwrapper with wraparound colour scene by Breary. Pictorial endpapers. Illustrations in line. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, which shows two small nicks from corners at the top and base of the spine and a bit of the usual creasing to the edges, but is a generally bright copy and is much better preserved than usually encountered.
The very rare first Lone Pine book.
