First "cheap" edition, with original date of May 1939 to title page. In second impression dustwrapper. 8vo. Bright red cloth, in the pictorial dustwrapper. Illustrations in black and white by Thomas Henry. A very good copy in a near very good dustwrapper, which has a closed tear repaired to upper panel and some associated creasing.
This title was reissued in 1956 as "William's Bad Resolution".
