First edition. Large 4to. Light tan coloured cloth with gilt lettering and vignettes. This copy is preserved in its original pictorial dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers and line drawings on each of the 92 pages. There are six full page colour plates which are detailed and have an art nouveau feel to them. A very good example of this rare fairy book. The boards are bright, with just a little dustiness to the top of the spine, corresponding to a chip in the dustwrapper. There is a contemporary gift inscription to the front endpaper. The dustwrapper is in near very good condition, a little dusty and with a chip to the top of the spine.
