Ninety-Two Days
Duckworth, 1934.
First edition, first state binding of bright blue cloth with gilt lettering, in rare pictorial dustwrapper with a photograph of the author on the upper cover. Twenty-four photographic plates and a fold-out map. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper which shows meaningful chips from the spine ends, taking out much of the title and publisher's name. A little further wear and repaired tears, but the panels and flaps in good order.
Without question, the author's rarest commercially published book. In years of actively seeking this book we have encountered a mere handful of copies in dustwrapppers mainly in a very poor state. Waugh's third travel book in which he explores Guiana and Brazil.
