First edition. Black boards in dustwrapper. Signed by the author to the title page. A near fine copy with a small bump to the head of the spine on a very near fine dustwrapper, which is bright and crisp with just a minor rub to the back panel at the top edge.
Christopher Wood wrote the screenplay for the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me, which is effectively an entirely new story to Ian Fleming's original book. Wood then wrote the screenplay up into a novel, which was published by Fleming's publisher's Cape, but only in small numbers, possibly because of the potential confusion over the title. The first edition is now uncommon, particularly signed.
