A Band of Mirth
Chambers, 1914.
First edition. 8vo. Bright blue pictorial boards with Attwell illustrations on the upper cover and spine. This copy is in its original publisher's dustwrapper which has colour illustrations by Attwell to the upper cover and spine. Four colour illustrations by Attwell, including the sweetest frontispiece. A fine book, contemporary gift inscription on the front endpaper. The dustwrapper is extremely attractive, though it has some old tape stains to the rear, not visible from the front and rear flap trimmed.
A stunning copy of this delightful children's story. The original dustwrapper keeping the pictorial boards bright and fresh.
