First edition. Green cloth with silhouette drawing in dark green embossed on the upper cover in scarce pictorial dustwrapper. A near fine copy, just a touch cocked, in a very good dustwrapper indeed which is clean and principally complete with just a trace of wear to the spine ends and a little chip from the bottom. An exceptionally well preserved copy.
The first full length Jeeves & Wooster book, Wodehouse most popular and enduring characters. Although both make a brief appearence on "The Man With Two Left Feet" (one story) and "My Man Jeeves" (four stories out of eight, all of which were reprinted in Carry On, Jeeves), it is this novel made up of connected stories, that the pair hit their stride.
