First edition. Red boards in purple and white printed dustwrapper. Inscribed by Christie on the front free endpaper "To Mr + Mrs Smith / Agatha Christie / June 1953" A very good copy in a good dustwrapper, which has a couple of short closed tears and a few nicks to the spine ends.

The recipients of the book, Mr and Mrs Smith, worked for Agatha Christie, as butler, chauffeur and housekeeper at her home in Wallingford.
