In the original dustwrapper with design and titles printed in gold. Top edge gilt. Text printed on Japon, adding to the luxurious feel. Twelve tipped in colour plates by Robinson and protected by captioned tissue guards. Numerous black and white drawings in the text. A superb, fine copy. It is most uncommon to encounter this book in fine condition and almost unheard of to find it in the original dustwrapper. The jacket is in very good condition, with some foxing and a couple of small chips, one (1cm deep) at the lower spine has allowed a small patch of dustiness to the bottom of the book's spine.31047
