Twelve tipped in colour plates, mounted onto brown sugar paper by Katharine Cameron. A very good copy, with some light wear to the boards, previous owner's name on the first title page.
A collection of stories for children set in Old Italy, spanning from Roman times to the Middle Ages. With Saints and Sinners alike, there is a virtuous indication of morality to these adventurous tales.
