Author's presentation copy, inscribed on the front endpaper, "To Edith, With best wishes from The Author, M.M.Oliver March 1953". Eight black and white plates and eighteen vignettes by Charlotte Hough. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper indeed, which has slight wear to the ends of the spine.
Marjorie Oliver was an early writer of the genre of pony stories, inscribed copies are uncommon.
