Set in the early thirties, this story for children tells the adventures of Corky and Ginger, two of the eponymous Pony Boys who were employed in the city to deliver light loads. Better known as a playwright (he wrote the stage play Alfie, which was later adapted for the 1966 film starring Michael Caine) this is Naughton's second novel.
