First edition. 8vo. Green boards lettered in black in the original Hilda McGavin illustrated dustwrapper. Line drawings throughout by McGavin. A very good book indeed, previous owner's gift inscription on the front endpaper. In a good price clipped dustwrapper, which has a 1cm chip to the top of the spine affecting the lettering and a couple of smaller chips to corners.
The first book about the comical Mr. Twiddle. Produced during the war, first editions are now uncommon.
