A locally printed anthology of writings on Bombay (now Mumbai). Including the seventeenth century accounts of Streynsham, Fryer and Ovington, but predominantly featuring nineteenth century visitors, residents and luminaries. It also includes the accounts of a number of female travellers and residents, including Anna Brassey, Elizabeth Grant and Flora Steel.
