This collection of short stories comprises of Celeste, Frau Karl Druschki, Southern Women, Sunrise in Conegliano, Sounds and Transmutation. Stephen Hudson (pseudonym for Sydney Schiff) famously finished the translation of Proust's "Time Regained" and in Celeste, Proust appears as the character Richard Kurt.
