First edition. 8vo. Green/ grey cloth, lettered in gilt, with embossed gilt image of a fly fisher on the upper cover. Thirty-three black and white photographic plates, plus one coloured plate showing a variety of salmon flies. A good copy, with marks to the cloth and sporadic foxing, but gilt remains bright. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
