First edition. Large 4to. White cloth with gilt lettering and gilt illustration to the upper cover of a little girl and a fairy hovering above a fairy ring. All edges gilt. Pictorial endpapers by Harrison. 24 colour illustrations and lots of line drawings to accompany Harrison's fairy poems. A near fine, bright copy. The upper corner of the rear cover has been scorched and is missing the corner section. The exterior is beautifully bright, with none of the usual dustiness and gilt unrubbed. Contents are clean and tight.
This is a notoriously scarce book.
