It was wonderful to return to Battersea Park last month for Firsts London, the rebranded London Bookfair. Over the course of three days we saw thousands of bibliophiles visit the fair just south of the river, and they were treated to the best books that some 150 international rare book dealers could muster.
Our stand featured fine books on all subjects, as well as a good spread of original artwork and manuscript material, that covered everything from children's classics to Antarctic exploration. You can see how we looked moments before Stephen Fry opened the fair below.
During a brief break from the flurry of new and old friends visiting the stand on the Sunday afternoon we were visited by Julia Bright from Riverside Radio, who spoke to Tom about the modern literature in our glass cases. You can listen to this segment from her radio programme below.
