Nearly 400 engravings in the text and 16 etchings by various artists including David Law, John Fullwood and J. A. Whistler. A good set with significant wear to spines and joints, there is 3cm chip to the spine top of volume 2. Hinges are strengthened. Internally, mainly clean with some foxing to the plates.
