The Whole Hog

KENYON, Michael

The Whole Hog - ,

Collins, 1967.

First edition. Red boards, lettered gilt to the spine, in pictorial dustwrapper. A fine copy in a very good, price clipped, dustwrapper with a small abrasion to the front cover.

Kenyon's second novel of which the TLS wrote "Mr. Kenyon's first book, May You Die in Ireland, was good. The second is excellent." One of the early exponents in the genre of spoof-espionage, this is a blackly comic novel in which pigs play a murderous role.
