First edition. Original green printed wrappers over board. Author's presentation copy, inscribed on the front pastedown, "The Revd, Alan H. Walls / from W.F.Grundy / 5th Decr. 1907." A very good copy indeed with a little wear to the spine ends.
Scarce. Contains a letter between two of the great early collectors of and writers about cricket books, A.L.Ford (1843-1924) and Alfred Gaston (1854-1928) dated February 1920, in which Ford thanks Gaston for the loan of this book stating that he "had not heard of it before and if it is for sale I will buy it."
