When setting up Faber & Gwyer in the 1920, Geoffrey Faber decided to hire T.S. Eliot as an editor, and to publish his Poems 1909-1925. This was the beginning of Eliot’s lifelong service to the firm, and set Faber on the course to being the leading publisher of poetry in the English language.
This short list charts Eliot's career at the firm, and is bookended with the first and last collections of poems Fasber published in his lifetime. In between there are books inscribed by him for colleagues, books introduced by him, and his rare announcement of Cat Morgan.
