Selling Books to Jonkers

We are always looking to buy fine books.  If you are thinking of selling a single book or a whole collection, we would encourage you to contact us as we offer extremely competitive prices for suitable books and pay promptly.  With auction houses taking up to 40% of the gross proceeds we can guarantee a better return than sale by auction for items we are seeking.

In the first instance, please contact us with details of the book or collection you are looking to sell.  We will need to know the following information,

• Author
• Title (exactly as it appears on the title page)
• Publisher and date (if present)
• Edition (if known, reprints are often stated on the back of the title page)
• Brief description of the binding (cloth boards, leather-bound, with or lacking dustwrapper)
• Brief description of the overall condition noting any major defects

If the book sounds suitable, we will contact you for more details and possibly images.
