Fourth edition, revised. Large 4to. Blue cloth in printed dust wrapper with colour plate to the upper cover Coloured frontis and 387 illustrations in black and white, mostly from photographs. A very good copy, some light marks to the boards and a small split to the front hinge. The original dustwrapper is in good condition, although it has the printed price cut out of the upper panel it remains attractive.
Includes studies of a few gardens of houses in Berkshire and Surrey, a well as chapters on pergolas, archways, paving hedges, sundials and more.
